Dr. Tarek Ammar attended the University of Alberta in Edmonton, his hometown, where he studied for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He then moved to San Jose, California to complete his Doctorate’s degree in Chiropractic Medicine. Upon completion of his studies he joined Bow Valley Chiropractic and trained with Dr. Donald Menzies for his graduating practicum requirements. After completing his practicum, his love for the city and loyalty to the Oilers and Elks brought him back to the City of Champions, where he married his lovely wife Erica and is now a father of two boys and a beautiful girl. Apart from being a family man, Dr. Ammar is an active member of the Chiropractic community. He is a member of both the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors. On weekends, Dr. Ammar coaches both his son's hockey teams. Further to this, Dr. Ammar continuously supports local business and communities.
